Dr. Danny Foerster
Dr. Danny Foerster completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas, where he also played Division I soccer. Upon graduation, Danny took a gap year to pursue playing soccer professionally, after which he returned to University of Central Arkansas School to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy education.
After graduating in 2012, Danny was drawn West in search of adventure and the mountain lifestyle. He began working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic in rural Colorado, working closely with orthopedic surgical group in Steamboat Springs. Danny participated as part of the concussion management team for local high schools by performing baseline cognitive testing (ImPACT™) as well as return to sport rehab protocols.
In 2013, Danny moved to Salt Lake City, UT where he worked for 4 years in an outpatient physical therapy clinic. He has extensive experience treating general orthopedic conditions including shoulders, knees, hips, ankles, lumbar and cervical spine, as well as pre/post-operative care and rehabilitation.
While in Utah, he began focusing on the treatment of endurance athletes including Olympians/Paralympians, professional runners, cyclists, and triathletes. Additionally, Danny had the opportunity to learn running gait analysis and biomechanics under the guidance of Dr. Bryan Heiderscheit PT, PhD (University of Wisconsin). Danny specializes in treatment of endurance based conditions such as overuse injuries, tendonitis/tendinopathy, patellofemoral pain, stress fractures, etc.
Danny is a contracted running and USAT L1 triathlon coach who also specializes in strength and conditioning programs for athletes returning to sport or seeking performance enhancement.
In December of 2017, Danny moved to Bozeman to join the Physical Therapy Elite team. He is an avid endurance athlete who competes in Ironman triathlons and ultramarathons. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping along with his wife Vanessa and their pup Luna.
