What To Expect From Your Doctor

Your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) employs soft tissue manipulation and therapeutic exercises as well as effective modalities to get the most efficient, scientifically proven results. Your DPT's work involves restoration and acceleration of recovery from either injury or chronic condition. PT Elite patients rehab like the pros, shaving months off recuperation.

Initial Examination

The initial examination is a 60 minute session where your Doctor of Physical Therapy will obtain information from you, the patient, regarding your injury, limitation or performance goal.

Your biomechanical patterns will be assessed along with the contributing soft tissue and/or joint restrictions as well as muscle weaknesses and detrimental postural adaptations.

You and your Doctor of Physical Therapy will discuss findings, the subsequent treatment strategy, and establish goals.

An initial treatment will be performed following the examination and a home program will be implemented.
